Powering the timepiece and assuring precision,

Parmigiani Fleurier just introduced a new version of their popular Tonda Hemisphere timepiece. Like the previous versions, this one has a dual time zone (GMT) feature. Both timezones are fully visible, at a glance, including minutes and hours. In D&GD W0119 addition, each has its day/night indicator. Addititionally there is an exposed date window, that allows you to see three days at a time. Two crowns control the separate time zones, and the main crown also allows you to wind the timepiece and hang the date. All new on this model, is a partially skeletonized dial. You can observe some of the gears and screws, which provides it a very appealing look.

The silver inner circle about the dial is metal, and is carried out with Geneva stripes, further adding to the dial aesthetics. The only other big change, may be the blue color scheme, including a blue Hermes crocodile strap. The situation is fully polished stainless steel and it is 42 mm in diameter. Inside is a in-house automatic calibre.
